Reading

Reception – We expect children to read with an adult at home at least three-four times a week and record their regular reading in their Reading Record book. Even if these are short, ten minute sessions, it will make a big difference. Children will also start to have small handwriting activities to practise their letter formation at home.

Reception Challenge Homework

Activities are set each term and are based on the topics that we will cover across the curriculum. The expectation is for each child to complete and bring in at least one of these activities by Wednesday 13th December.  Extra points will be awarded for effort and presentation. Please note Reception pupils are invited to participate in the challenge if they wish to do so but it is not compulsory.
