Class Timetable

Oak Class Timetable

Homework/ Challenge

Homework books (English and Maths) will be given out each Monday and children are to complete ONE workout per subject, per week (English and Maths). These will be dated.

All children also have access to Mathletics via login details in their home records. They are also encouraged to access Timestables.co.uk ( Times tables games – Learn them all here! ) to practise all of their tables.

Challenge Work

Please find below details of Oak class challenges. Please note the homework covers the whole Autumn term and is to be handed in by Wednesday 13th December. Children are expected to complete at least ONE challenge per term.

Reading

It is really important that we ensure our children are confident readers who have a love of reading. Therefore I would ask that children read at least three times a week and that this is recorded in their reading records. This will then ensure that the children receive their reading stickers and awards. Children have their Accelerated Reader levels and login information so they can complete quizzes at home too 🙂

Spellings

Children will be given spellings each Monday and will be tested the following Monday.
